At Tydoe, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on flight and hotel bookings made through our platform. Refund eligibility and processing times vary depending on the type of booking and the policies of the service provider (airline or hotel).

Flight Bookings Refunds

Important: Refund eligibility for flights is determined by the airline's fare rules and cancellation policy, not by Tydoe.

Refundable Tickets

  • Full refunds are available for refundable tickets, minus any airline cancellation fees
  • Processing time: 7-14 business days after cancellation is confirmed
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Service fees may be non-refundable

Non-Refundable Tickets

  • Non-refundable tickets typically cannot be refunded
  • You may be eligible for airline credit or voucher (subject to airline policy)
  • Change fees may apply if modifications are allowed
  • Some airlines offer "cancel for any reason" insurance as an add-on

Refund Process

  1. Submit a refund request through your booking in "My Bookings"
  2. Our team will verify eligibility with the airline
  3. If approved, we'll process the refund within 7-14 business days
  4. You'll receive a confirmation email once the refund is processed
  5. Funds will appear in your account within 5-10 business days after processing

Hotel Bookings Refunds

Important: Hotel refund policies vary by property and booking type. Check the cancellation policy shown at the time of booking.

Free Cancellation

  • Full refund if cancelled before the cancellation deadline
  • Deadline is typically 24-48 hours before check-in
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days
  • No cancellation fees apply

Non-Refundable Rates

  • Non-refundable rates cannot be refunded after booking
  • Some hotels may offer credit for future stays (property discretion)
  • Consider purchasing travel insurance for unexpected cancellations

Refund Process

  1. Cancel your booking through "My Bookings" or contact support
  2. We'll verify the cancellation policy with the hotel
  3. If eligible, refund will be processed within 5-10 business days
  4. Confirmation email will be sent upon processing
  5. Funds will appear in your account within 5-7 business days

Service Fees and Charges

  • Booking Service Fee (15%): This fee is non-refundable unless the booking is cancelled due to our error
  • Processing Fees: Some payment processors may charge fees that are non-refundable
  • Currency Conversion: Refunds are processed in the original payment currency
  • Exchange Rate: If currency conversion occurred, refunds use current exchange rates, which may differ from booking rates

Special Circumstances

Flight Delays/Cancellations

  • If your flight is cancelled by the airline, you're entitled to a full refund
  • Significant delays (4+ hours) may qualify for refunds or compensation
  • Contact us immediately if your flight is cancelled or significantly delayed

Force Majeure Events

  • Natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions may qualify for special refund consideration
  • Each case is reviewed individually with the service provider
  • Documentation may be required

Medical Emergencies

  • Medical emergencies may qualify for refunds or travel credits
  • Medical documentation is required
  • Subject to service provider approval

How to Request a Refund

Option 1: Online (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your Tydoe account
  2. Go to "My Bookings"
  3. Find the booking you want to cancel
  4. Click "Cancel" or "Request Refund"
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the request

Option 2: Contact Support

If you need assistance or your booking doesn't appear in your account:

  • Include your booking reference number
  • Provide reason for cancellation
  • We'll respond within 24-48 hours
